Today we talked about Hero’s Journey, School Stories and Foster in relationship to the second half of Looking for Alaska.
I am also thoroughly embarrassed that you mined me for a story instead of a two-minute mystery today, but c’est la vie. 🙂
Tomorrow we’re in the lab.

I wanted to add onto what was said about religion and say the Zen Buddhism Pudge talks about is connected to Alaska’s death because in Zen Buddhism the man realizes there is no best or worst. Which is like them realizing that there is no bad or good in Alaska’s death and they should let it be and move on, but still remember her. Also I wanted to say something about the white flowers, because white symbolizes purity and innocence, which could mean that Alaska’s death symbolizes her innocence because she dies with the flowers.
It was a wonderful story 🙂
